Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics academic staff member Prof. Dr. Rza Bashirov has been elected as a member at the Editorial Board of the Edelweiss Applied Science and Technology Journal. USA-based journal is indexed by many international data bases, particularly by the Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) which is a sub-index of Web of Science (WoS) database.
Primary research fields of Prof. Dr. Bashirov consists of Bioinformatics, Petri nets, modelling methods and data security. Apart from his recent assignment as a member of the Editorial Board, Prof. Dr. Bashirov acted as a Deputy Editor in Chair in the Journal of Modern Technolgy and Engineering, indexed by Scopus, between 2016 and 2019. Furthermore, he has been an Editor in the same journal since 2019.
