Eastern Mediterranean University (EMU), Faculty of Pharmacy academic staff member Prof. Dr. Eda Becer has been appointed as a member of the Agricultural and Food Policies Council under the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye.
In her remark, Prof. Dr. Eda Becer stated; “Embracing the responsibility of this esteemed role, we are fully committed to advancing our nation to the forefront of agriculture and food through education, research, and public service, in alignment with the Century of Türkiye vision”. Extending her gratitude to Republic of Türkiye President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for entrusting her with the said responsibility, Prof. Dr. Becer congratulated all the other board members.
EMU Rector Prof. Dr. Hasan Kılıç also released a statement on the matter, saying; “We are deeply honored by the appointment of our distinguished faculty member, Prof. Dr. Eda Becer, to the Agricultural and Food Policies Council under the Presidency of the Republic of Türkiye. Her strong academic background, disciplined approach, and commitment to public service will undoubtedly make meaningful contributions to this significant role. As a university, we not only lead in scientific research but also take pride in empowering national policymaking through our esteemed scholars.
